Hailing from Gastonia, North Carolina, home of Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, Matthew is no stranger to perfection. Prior to becoming a broker, Matthew owned and operated his custom-clothier business. Matthew too, worked for Parkdale Mills, Inc one of the world’s most respected and largest textile mills in the United States as Human Resource Director. Matthew and his wife, Elizabeth McLean Brown, who works with him in the real estate business, are active supporters of the American Heart Association.

Elizabeth McLean Brown has been exposed to the real estate development industry for most of her life. Elizabeth's father is a third generation builder and developer for who at an early age, Elizabeth started designing the interiors of his custom homes. Her enthusiasm for accomplishing big things along with her warmth, knowledge, and natural sales abilities make Elizabeth a leading real estate professional in the area. Her specialty is Interior Design.
Elizabeth grew up in a builder/developer family and acquired a strong work ethic at an early age. Her tenacity has taken her from graduating Converse College in Interior Design to operating her own Interior Design firm High Cotton Interiors by Elizabeth. She became very successful with designing the homes of her distinctive clientele before combining her strengths and energies toward real estate with husband, Matthew Paul Brown. Within a short span of time Elizabeth proved yet again successful dealing with her clients in the real estate industry. She draws from her experience and education to ensure smooth real estate transactions.
